terms & conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your cat’s stay. By placing a booking, you agree to the following:

1. Bookings, Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations

  • All bookings are subject to a two-night minimum charge. Cats staying only one night will still be charged for two nights.

  • A deposit equal to two nights is required at the time of booking.

  • Additionally, at certain times of the year, a deposit of up to 50% of the total booking cost may be required. This will be made clear to you by us in advance of your stay.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking start date will lead to loss of deposit.

  • Once your cat’s stay has commenced, all nights booked must be paid for in full, regardless of early collection or change of plans.

2. Vaccination Requirements

  • All cats must be fully vaccinated against feline influenza and enteritis at least 7 days prior to arrival.

  • Valid vaccination certificates must be presented at every stay. Failure to provide proof will result in refusal of admission and loss of deposit.

3. Health and Medical Care

  • All cats must be flea and worm treated prior to arrival. If evidence of infestation is found during their stay, we reserve the right to administer appropriate treatment. Treatment costs will be the responsibility of the owner.

  • Where possible, medication will be administered in accordance with veterinary instructions. We will supply a Medication Authorisation Form on arrival, which must be submitted prior to boarding.

  • If a cat becomes unwell during their stay, we will attempt to contact the owner and the nominated vet. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to use our own veterinary provider. All veterinary fees are the responsibility of the owner.

  • We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat we deem unsuitable for boarding due to health, behaviour, or other concerns.

4. Neutering Policy

  • All male cats over the age of 12 months must be neutered to be accepted for boarding.

5. Behaviour and Accommodation

  • Cats from the same household are typically housed together. However, if they are not tolerating shared accommodation and where space allows, we reserve the right to separate them. Any additional accommodation costs will be borne by the owner.

6. Grooming

  • Grooming is only provided, upon request, if your cat tolerates it. Please bring your cat’s own grooming utensils if grooming is desired.

7. Handling and Transport

  • While we are happy to assist where possible, owners are responsible for handling and placing their own cats into their travel carriers.

8. Opening Hours and Drop-Offs

  • All drop-offs and collections must take place strictly during our stated opening hours. We cannot accept or release cats outside of these times.

9. Liability for Additional Costs

  • Any additional costs incurred during your cat’s stay — including but not limited to veterinary care or behavioural accommodations — will be payable by the owner upon collection.

10. Amendments to Terms

  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
